(Like a jagged kidney stone)Healthcare has passed! I wish it was that simple....That raggedy bill was a far cry from what anybody on capitol hill, left or right really wanted but they passed it anyway. This is not a pro bill, nor is it an anti-reform rant. This is a rant about the attitudes of those people in Washington, who supposed to be working for the best interests of the American people, that squandered their elected power on that crap of a bill. I'm not just blaming the DEMS and their inept ability to lead. REPS should be held accountable also for their lack of cohesiveness and emotional fervour when it comes to reaching across the aisle. Can I be a brat for two seconds??? All Politicians Suck! Is this the best that you guys can come up with!?! What a waste of power and influence....

-In other news...

Employers are now using social networking sites to vet would be employees. This shouldn't even be a story, because you would think that it would be common sense not to broadcast behavior that some would consider raunchy all over the internet, but obviously I'm naive. Come on people we are living in the age of the internet. Everything we get involved in whether it is work or leisure seems to find its way onto the information highway. Maybe about ten years ago you could have kept your virtual and real life separate but those days are fading fast my friend......Sorry. I suggest you take total control of your internet persona. Do a search of yourself and edit the finding. This may be tedious but taking this action may earn you that job you are seeking.

There's a new political party attempting to emerge called the 'Coffee Party'........seems more like a social club to me; No debating, only progressive discussions??? Save it for your neighborhood coffee shop while tapping away feverishly on your Macbook, shooting evil looks across the room over the rim of your rectangle shaped lens of your thin framed spectacles at me; a regular guy that likes PC's and doesn't mind a cup of joe from MacDonalds as long as it's hot, while you're sipping on your mocha latte 'fill in the blank'....ha ha just kidding. That's just another thing that I love about my country, we are always renewing and refreshing ourselves..It's rather refreshing:)

Also...The Michael Jackson legacy continues.
His estate has set a deal that will keep us inundated with M.J. entertainment for many years to come, including of course more music, videos, video games,etc...Yeppie! I think? I hope they don't over do it, but they probably will. At least it will give us more news to talk about...R.I.P.M.J.

And....
A Toyota Prius owner is suspected of attempting to scam the car manufacture. Toyota is pissed and is unleashing all of its legal might along with the feds to discredit this alleged scam artist. This guy is trying the wrong scam at the wrong time, allegedly. It doesn't look good for him.

I almost forgot....Tiger Woods will be back on the green next month for the Masters in Augusta, GA. Godspeed Tiger...lol

What can I say??? There wasn't much news that 'The Adib and Jameelah Show' wanted to discuss this week but we managed to pull it off anyway.....Go figure.

And the beat goes on.....when it comes to healthcare reform. I'm tired of discussing it even though I know that it's an important subject. This is one of those bills that will hurt the administration,politically, if it is passed or not. There has been so much negativity attached to it I don't think that the democrats will be able to overcome the residual effect by the November elections. I predict that the democrats will lose big in the House and in the Senate if they don't detach themselves from Obama-care. I'm not saying that the healthcare reform is a bad idea but at this point it has been demonized by right wing activists and made incomprehensible by the White House itself in such a way that I believe that its unsalvageable for the time being.

And...
We attempt to talk about the Oscars. I say attempt because I just wasn't interested in them. Don't get me wrong I like most of the actors, film,etc that won. And I see nothing wrong with an award show to celebrate the industry. I just would rather talk about real news.....I promise that I'm not trying to be sarcastic; just honest.
